QUOTES

"Tonight is a game that we need to take a lot from. We need to learn when we have the lead to control the lead and not let teams back in. There were a lot of positive character plays, especially late, tonight for us. Guys are battling and playing for each other which is always nice to see." - Mike Angelidis with his thoughts on tonight's setback.

"I thought we helped [Tucson] get back into by taking penalties. They're a good team and if you give them an opportunity they're going to strike. We gave them power plays and their power play was clicking tonight." - Angelidis on what he thought was the turning point in the game after the Heat jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first.

"I was just trying to get to the net a little bit more. When you haven't scored in a few games that's the place to be. [Morgan Klimchuk] did a good job of getting the puck to the net and I was lucky enough to get my stick on it to tip it in." - Linden Vey on his first goal of the year for the Heat.

"The chances are there. We just have to bear down and get a little bit more net presence. We could be a little hungrier on pucks. We're getting our chances and good things happen when that's going, so hopefully we can bear down and get a few god ones Sunday." - Vey on what the key is to turn tonight's result around on Sunday.

"We got off to a great start, but we gave few gifts that [Tucson] was able to capitalize on. Our special teams were nowhere near good enough tonight. At the end of the day I think that was the issue." - Head Coach Ryan Huska with his thoughts on tonight's setback.

"We have a practice tomorrow, so we'll take that time to go over a few things and Sunday is a new day. We did some things well on the offensive side of the game, but we need to clean up our own zone." - Coach Huska on the focus going into Sunday's rematch.
