ALBANY, NY - The Toronto Marlies took the first game, 3-0, of the weekend series against the Albany Devils. The two teams meet again Saturday at 5 pm at Times Union Center. The Devils, who started the season on a five-game winning streak, are trying to end a two-game skid, while the Marlies go for their fifth consecutive victory.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR

* Fast Start: John Quenneville is tied for 13th among rookies with four points and tied for second with three goals. He began the season with back-to-back goals and registered his first career multi-point game, producing a goal and a helper against Utica on Oct. 22. The 20-year-old was New Jersey's first round pick (30th overall) during the 2014 NHL Draft.

* Scarlett Contributes: Defenseman Reece Scarlett has been an offensive contributor during the first seven contests. He has three points (1g-2a) in the last four games and is tied for second on the team with four points (1g-3a). In 172 career AHL games, Scarlett has registered 75 points (13g-62a) and a +11 rating.

* Opposing Guardian: Toronto's Antoine Bibeau registered his second shutout of the season and the ninth of his career, setting a Marlies' franchise record. The 22-year-old has made four consecutive start with veteran Jeff Glass waiting for his first appearance.
