Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), host the Stockton Heat tonight at 7:00 PT at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tonight is the seventh of eight regular-season meetings this season.

Series at a Glance

The Reign are 3-2-1-0 against the Heat this season and 10-6-2-0 all time. The two teams opened the home-and-home series on Wednesday in Stockton, with the Heat prevailing 6-2. Heat forward Mark Jankowski leads all skaters in the series with seven points (four goals, three assists) and scored two goals and an assist on Wednesday.

A Helping Hand:

Reign defenseman Kurtis MacDermid is on a three-game assist streak (three assists). Forward Jonny Brodzinski rides a three-game point streak into tonight's contest (one goal, three assists).

700 Club:

Forward Teddy Purcell looks to perform in his 700th professional game tonight and is one goal from 150 pro tallies. Through 699 games, Purcell has 149 goals and 301 assists for 450 points.

400 For Backman:

Forward Sean Backman looks to play in his 400th AHL game tonight and is six points from 200 AHL points.

Upcoming Milestones:

Forward T.J. Hensick is two assists from 400 as a professional and three games from 700 pro contests.

Stockton Heats Up:

Heat forward Linden Vey has four multi-point games in his last five contests and leads the Heat with 10 multi-point performances this season.
