
Hogs Kick-Off Weekend Set against Moose

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs face the Manitoba Moose tonight in the teams' sixth matchup of the season.
Puck drop is 7 p.m. and fans ages 21 and older can kick-off their weekend festivities with a Pre-Game Party featuring live music from "Andrew Robinson" at the Blue Flame Lounge, located on the BMO Harris Bank Center concourse. Music begins at 5:15 p.m. and fans can also enjoy free appetizers and happy-hour specials at the Blue Flame Lounge. Please note guests must have a ticket to Friday's game to attend the Pre-Game Party. Those attending must enter the arena through the upper-concourse level entrance on Elm Street (near the Box Office).
In addition, the first 1,000 fans 21 and older in attendance tonight will receive a free IceHogs grill spatula, courtesy of Bud Light.

Matchup: Despite a 5-3 loss to the Moose on Tuesday night, the IceHogs boast a season record of 3-1-0-1 against Manitoba.
Tuesday's defeat marked just the fourth regulation loss for the IceHogs during the month of February, as Rockford went 7-4-3-0 and earned 17 of a possible 28 points in 14 games. The IceHogs are led on offense by defenseman Erik Gustafsson, who has compiled 1g-11a-12pts and a +3 rating in those 14 contests. Gustafsson finished February ranked first among AHL defenseman and second overall in the league in assists.
Michael Latta also had seven assists in February.
Manitoba has won each of its last three games after falling to the IceHogs in last week's two-game series at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg. The Moose are led on offense by three rookies in center Jack Roslovic (10g-24a-34pts), Dan DeSalvo (14g-14a-28pts) and Kyle Connor (13g-13a-26pts).
Next Home Game: The IceHogs host the Wild on Autism Awareness Night on Saturday at 7 p.m. Fans can purchase mystery pucks and bid on player baskets filled with a variety of their favorite items, including hats, clothing, gift cards, food, drinks and signed memorabilia with proceeds benefitting Autism Program of Easterseals. The first 1,500 fans to enter the BMO Harris Bank Center will receive a set of coasters (four) compliments of The Autism Program of Easterseals.
