February 11, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI--Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that a limited number of general admission on-ice passes for the Foreigner concert after the Admirals 7:30 pm game on Saturday, March 13th at the Bradley Center will go on sale on Friday, February 12 at 10:00 am. The on-ice passes allow fans exclusive access to watch the concert from ice level directly in front of the stage.
The concert is free with a game ticket and fans may purchase on-ice passes for $20 at the Milwaukee Admirals office (510 W. Kilbourn Ave.), the Bradley Center Box Office, or at www.ticketmaster.com. Fans must have a ticket for the game to gain entry into the Bradley Center for both the game and the concert. The Foreigner concert will start approximately 30 minutes after the Admirals-Toronto game.
The on-ice passes have become one of the most popular aspects of the Admirals concert series. Already this year, Blake Shelton on-ice passes were all sold out, and the Dropkick Murphy's on-ice passes for their concert on February 27 has already reached capacity.
More than 30 years after forming, Foreigner's music resonates across generations and the globe thanks to an impressive run of 14 Top 20 hits and album sales exceeding 70 million. The group's numerous hits include, "Cold as Ice," "Juke Box Hero," "Urgent," and "Waiting for a Girl Like You," and "I Want to Know What Love Is," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1985.
In 2007, Foreigner electrified audiences with an acclaimed world tour celebrating the multiplatinum success of the group's first 30 years. But while the band was honoring its past achievements onstage, it was plotting Foreigner's first album in more than 15 years, CAN'T SLOW DOWN, released last September.
