Canadiens Assign Ben Maxwell To Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced today that forward Ben Maxwell has been assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs from Montreal.

Maxwell, 21, has earned 34 points (11 goals, 23 assists) and 18 penalty minutes in 46 games with the Bulldogs this season. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound centre played in eight games with the Canadiens this year but was held pointless while serving four penalty minutes. The native of North Vancouver, British Columbia was drafted in the 2nd round, 49th overall by Montreal in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

The 'Dogs will travel to Cleveland to meet the Lake Erie Monsters for a game on Friday, February 12th at 7:30 p.m. Due to a scheduling conflict on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, TALK 820, tomorrow's game can be heard live on Oldies 1150 CKOC (1150 AM). The game will begin with the Pepsi Max Pre-Game Show at 7:00 p.m.
