Moose Assign Pope To Bakersfield

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have assigned right-winger Matt Pope to the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL.

Pope, 25, has appeared in 25 games this season with the Moose where he collected an assist on Jan. 8/10 vs. Hershey. He made his Moose debut during the 2008-09 season when he appeared in eight regular season games and collected five points (2g & 3a). The right-winger also played in 12 Calder Cup Playoff games with Manitoba where he collected six points (3g & 3a).

The Langley, BC native started last season with Bakersfield where he played in 54 games for 63 points (30g & 33a) along with 72 penalty minutes.
