OMAHA, Neb . - The Omaha Storm Chasers are set to begin the 45th season in franchise history, and the third season at Werner Park. The first homestand of the 2013 season features the Storm Chasers taking on a division rival in the Nashville Sounds and last year's PCL First Round Playoff matchup in the Albuquerque Isotopes. To add to the excitement, Storm Chasers President/GM Martie Cordaro has guaranteed an Opening Night win! Here is a rundown of all the fun from April 12-19:

Friday, April 12 (7:05 pm)

Opening Night for 2013 Season at beautiful Werner Park starts with a bang and yes, we're talking about FIREWORKS! It is the first of thirteen American Family Insurance Friday night FIREWORKS and the Storm Chasers are asking you to help us "Blue Out the Ballpark" by wearing blue. The first opponent YOUR Storm Chasers will face is the Nashville Sounds, Triple-A affiliate for the Milwaukee Brewers. And this year's home opener comes with a guarantee! If the Chasers win for the fourth opener in a row, everyone has a great time. However if the team loses, everyone in attendance will receive a FREE ticket voucher for a McDonald's grass berm ticket for ANY remaining April game. Huerter Orthodontics Lil Chasers Club Members get in FREE and following the Sounds versus Storm Chasers game all kids get to run the bases with Stormy presented by Hardees. Also, it's Sam's Club canned food day. Everyone who brings a canned good item gets a free McDonald's grass berm ticket. All items collected will benefit The Open Door Mission. Monday, April 15 (11:05 am)

Today, it is All About Kids. Local elementary and middle school students will be able to enjoy a game courtesy of the Home Run Foundation of Greater Omaha, but the day will also honor Jackie Robinson. Among the many activities planned, the Omaha Storm Chasers will award one male and one female with a Home Run Foundation of Greater Omaha-Robinson Athletic Scholarship, 42 educators will be honored during the game, a special videoboard message will be played from Jackie's daughter, Sharon Robinson and the team will all wear Jackie Robinson replica #42 jerseys. Throughout the game, fans will have an opportunity to bid on "Jackie Robinson #42" jerseys that will be worn during Monday's game, signed by the players and sold after the game. The Storm Chasers welcome 2012 American Conference Series foe the Albuquerque Isotopes, Triple-A affiliate for the Los Angeles Dodgers, for their first appearance at Werner Park since last year's playoffs. It's 2 for Tuesday presented by Cox Communications. Show your Cox Communications bill (paper or online) at the Werner Park Ticket Office for a Buy One, Get One FREE ticket. The first 125 people will get tickets for Section 104. After that, McDonald's Grass Berm tickets can be purchased based on availability. It is also another NEST "Hit the Books" night. New to the 2013 Season is Wobblehead Wednesday presented by Bucky's and Pepsi. You have seen heads booble. Now come see them wobble as the first 1,500 fans will receive a Stormy Wobblehead as they pass through the Werner Park gates.
