
Aces Kick Off-2013 Season with Eight Game Homestand

RENO, Nev.-The Reno Aces return home Friday night for the first homestand of the 2013 season, highlighted by Opening Weekend celebrations. First pitch for all games is scheduled for 6:35 p.m., except Sunday and Wednesday, which are slated for 1:05 p.m.
Opening Night will pit the Aces against the Sacramento River Cats. Whitney Myer, Reno native and contestant on NBC's "The Voice," will perform the National Anthem, and Wolf Pack Football Coach Brian Polian will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The club's 2012 Triple-A National Championship and Pacific Coast League Championship banners will be on display for the first time.
Friday's game will mark the first Saint Mary's Fireworks Friday presented by KRNV News 4, with fireworks immediately following the game. Opening Night will also feature a magnet schedule giveaway for 9,000 lucky fans.
The weekend set will feature Championship-themed giveaways, with 2,000 lucky fans receiving a Championship Ring Replica Saturday night, and 2,000 lucky fans receiving a Championship Banner Sunday afternoon. Sunday also marks the first Renown Children's Hospital Family Funday of the season, featuring the return of Baseball Bingo. Fans can participate for the chance to win a baseball signed by Aces Manager Brett Butler.
Monday marks the premiere of an all-new discount night at Aces Ballpark-Margarita Mondays presented by Alice @96.5, featuring half-price margaritas.
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox come to town Tuesday, and fans can take advantage of 2-for-$22 Tuesday presented by KTVN Channel 2 News. Fans can purchase two general admission tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for only $22. The 2-for-$22 ticket packages can be purchased by calling (775) 334-7000 or visiting the Aces Ballpark Ticket Office.
Bargain hunters can take advantage of another great deal on Wednesday with Dollar Wednesdays presented by KTVN Channel 2 News, featuring $1 hot dogs throughout the game.
Thursday marks the return of Coors Light Thirsty Thursdays(tm) presented by New West Distributing, ESPN Radio 94.5 FM and Reno News & Review. Fans can enjoy $2 beer specials through the middle of the fifth inning.
The homestand will close on Friday, April 19, with another Saint Mary's Fireworks Friday presented by KRNV News 4.
