The Mud Hens took game one of their series with Columbus at Fifth Third Field on Saturday by the score of 2-1. Left-hander Andy Oliver carried a no-hitter into the seventh. The Mud Hens kicked off the game with a bang, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning. With the bases loaded, Columbus starter Corey Kluber walked Brad Eldred, allowing Quintin Berry to score. Then Jeff Frazier sent a groundball to shortstop to score another on a fielder's choice. The Mud Hens and Clippers go at it again on Sunday afternoon with first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m.
