Durham Bulls News Release
DURHAM, NC - The opening game of the Bulls' series against the Norfolk Tides was suspended due to rain on Saturday evening. After a delay to start the game, the teams got through two full innings before the game was stopped again for heavy rains. The game was officially suspended at 9:25pm. At the time of suspension, Norfolk led Durham 3-0 with two outs in the third inning.
The game will be resumed tomorrow at 4:05pm as part of a doubleheader. Upon completion of the suspended game (which will go a full nine innings), Norfolk and Durham will play Sunday's regularly scheduled game, which is now a seven inning contest. Starters will be announced tomorrow.
Fans with tickets for tonight's suspended game can exchange their tickets for any regular season Bulls home game, based on availability.
