BACK-TO-BACK: Ryan Roberts and Nelson Cruz hit Oklahoma's first back-to-back home runs this season in last night's game. Roberts home run was his first since April 5 against Memphis, while Cruz hit his second against Omaha pitching this season. The last time Oklahoma had home runs in consecutive at bats was September 1, 2007, when Nate Gold and Kevin West accomplished the feat at Albuquerque.

GOODBYE MAY: The RedHawks finished the month of May with a 12-17 record, but maintained the division lead due to the records of their division counterparts. Albuquerque finished the month 11-19, New Orleans went 10-20, and Round Rock finished at 17-14.

OMAHA AT A GLANCE: The Royals knocked a season-high 19 hits and matched their season high with 13 runs. Omaha's seven first inning runs matched their season-best output as well... The Royals sent 20 men to the plate over the first two innings, and just nine over the next three... Ed Lucas wore number 32 in last night's game and entered play as a defensive replacement in the seventh inning. Lucas is listed as number 19 on the roster, but wore Shane Costa's jersey while Costa is out of the lineup due to an injury.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION: Texas doubled up Oakland 8-4... Frisco beat Northwest Arkansas 4-3... Bakersfield lost 4-2 at Visalia... Clinton edged Beloit 8-6.

DOT-DOT-DOT: The seven runs allowed by Oklahoma in the first inning were the most runs allowed in any inning this far this season, surpassing the six runs that Fresno scored on Mother's Day in the eighth inning...
