TODAY'S OPPONENT:

The Albuquerque Isotopes are the Triple-A affiliate of the Florida Marlins. They have been a member of the Pacific Coast League since 2003 when they moved from Calgary. Last year, the Isotopes finished fourth in the American South Division with a 70-72 record.

VS. ALBUQUERQUE:

The two teams split a four-game series at Isotopes Park June 11-14. First game of the series was rained out and made up as part of a doubleheader June 13. The RedHawks won the first game of the doubleheader and the final game of series. The RedHawks won four of the seven games played at The Brick this season.

TODAY'S GAME:

This will be game 143 of the season and the finale of a 4-game series between Oklahoma and Albuquerque. This is the last of 15 meetings between the RedHawks and Isotopes this season, and the final game of the RedHawks season.

SUSPENDED GAME COMPLETED:

The RedHawks cruised to a victory as they completed the rest of Saturday night's suspended game yesterday. The Hawks ended a season-high 7-game losing streak as the defeated the Isotopes 20-6. Victor Diaz had a game to remember, finishing 5-for-6 with three homers and eight RBIs. The RedHawks set a season-high with six homers and tied season-highs with 24 hits and a 14-run victory. Every starter had at least one hit. Ezequiel Astacio pitched three innings of relief for his third win of the season.

LAST GAME:

The RedHawks took the regularly scheduled game yesterday, winning 3-2. With the score tied at one, Kevin West hit a 2-run homer with two outs in the fifth to give the RedHawks a 3-1 lead. A.J. Murray made his first start of the season for the RedHawks and didn't figure in the decision, allowing one run on five hits in 3.2 innings. Francisco Cruceta pitched 2.1 innings of relief for his third win of the season. Franklyn German pitched a scoreless ninth for his team-high seventh save of the season.

PITCHING MATCHUP:

The RedHawks will send Derek Lee to the mound for his fourth start of the season. He lost his start Wednesday against New Orleans, allowing four runs on eight hits in six innings. Lee was 1-1 with a 6.00 ERA in four games, including three starts against the Isotopes last season. Ricky Nolasco goes to the mound for the Isotopes. Nolasco hasn't pitched against the RedHawks since the 2004 season with Iowa where he went 1-0 with a 12.00 ERA in two starts.

HAWKS LOOK TO FINISH STRONG ON ROAD:

The RedHawks improved to 24-11 in their last 35 road games. The Hawks are hitting .287 with 50 homers in the last 35 road games. They have outscored their opponents 211-125 during that time. The pitching staff has a 3.29 ERA in that stretch. Compare that to the final 29 home games where the Hawks went 9-20 with a 5.12 ERA.

BIG DAY FOR DIAZ:

Diaz's eight RBIs are the most for a RedHawk in a single game in franchise history. It's the RedHawks' first three-homer game since Adrian Gonzalez accomplished that at Albuquerque April 24, 2005.

GOLD STILL PUTTING UP NUMBERS:

Gold is finishing the season on a strong note, hitting .303 with 13 homers and 34 RBIs in his last 32 games. Gold leads the RedHawks with 26 home runs and his 103 RBIs are the most in a single season in RedHawks history. The RedHawks are 13-3 in the last 16 games Gold has homered.

FRANKLYN THE CLOSER:

German has converted his last four save chances. He leads the Hawks with seven saves. German has allowed only one run, with 17 strikouts in his last 12 appearances, spanning 12.1 IP.

LEAGUE LEADERS:

Freddy Guzman leads the league with 56 stolen bases. Gold is third with 103 RBIs, Tug Hulett is third with 95 runs scored, and Luther Hackman is fourth with 18 saves

DOT-DOT-DOT:

The RedHawks are 4-12 on Monday this season, and they're 16-19 in the last game of a series...the RedHawks are 6-0-4 in their last 10 road series...in the last 14 games, the Hawks are 6-3 when Guzman gets a hit, and 0-5 when he goes hitless...Hulett has three homers and 16 RBIs in his last 14 games... Randy Williams hasn't allowed a run in 10.1 innings over his last seven appearances...the RedHawks won the final game of last season, with a 7-6 win at Albuquerque.
