
Oklahoma City Shuts Down Delaware in Comeback Win

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Oklahoma City Thunder forward Josh Huestis scored a season-high 20 points - including 14 in the fourth quarter - to help lead the Oklahoma City Blue to a comeback 119-114 win over the Delaware 87ers on Wednesday at the NBA D-League Showcase in Santa Cruz, California. Huestis added five rebounds and two blocked shots in his 31 minutes of action.
The Blue trailed by 12 heading into the final quarter before retaking the lead on a 17-3 run. Oklahoma City held Delaware to zero made field goals to start the quarter until a Rick Jackson layup at the 4:29 mark broke the 87ers' stretch of 12 straight missed shots. The Blue shot 66.7 percent in the final frame and scored 10 points off of five Delaware turnovers to outscore the 87ers 43-26 in the quarter and open the Showcase with a win.
Offensively, Marquis Teague scored a season-best 26 points while distributing nine assists and pulling down four rebounds. As a team, the Blue totaled 27 assists - the most OKC has dished this season.
Dakari Johnson totaled 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Dez Wells scored 14 points with five rebounds and Talib Zanna tallied 10 points with nine boards. JP Tokoto added 14 points off the bench.
The Blue (5-14) blocked nine shots and forced 18 turnovers.
Delaware (12-10) was led by Sean Kilpatrick with 35 points and seven rebounds.
