RedHawks Open Series vs. Omaha-- The Oklahoma City RedHawks continue a 12-game homestand with the first game of a four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers...The season series between Omaha and Oklahoma City is tied 6-6...The RedHawks are 6-2 in the current homestand, including a four-game sweep of the Memphis Redbirds...Four of the wins in the current homestand have been come-from-behind efforts...In the second half of the season, the RedHawks have posted a 18-17 record...Every game of the current homestand is against American Northern division opponents, the tightest division in the PCL...Oklahoma City enters Saturday in fourth place in the American Southern division, 15.0 games behind first place Round Rock...Omaha enters Saturday first place in the American Northern division, 5.0 games ahead of second place Memphis...

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Sergio Perez (20G, 19GS, 5-9, 4.31) is coming off his first winning decision since May 31, giving up two runs and seven hits over five innings against Memphis on July 25...In two starts against Omaha, Perez has a 0-0 record and 3.00 ERA (4ER/12.0IP)...Vin Mazzaro (14GS, 5-1, 4.74) is coming off a losing decision on July 25 against Round Rock, giving up five runs, three earned, with 11 hits over 5.0 innings...Mazzaro's lone appearance against OKC came July 10, giving up one run and three hits over seven innings...

Last Game: July 29 - OKC RedHawks 5, Nashville Sounds 3-- Five different RedHawks knocked in a run in a 5-3 win over the Nashville Sounds before 5,277 Friday night at RedHawks Field at Bricktown...Andy Van Hekken (6-4) allowed two runs and five hits over six innings in the winning decision...Mike McClendon (3-2) allowed two runs and three hits over 1.2 innings in the relief losing decision...Wesley Wright saved the game with a scoreless 1.2 innings...OKC trailed 2-0 after two innings, but tied the game with a two-run fourth inning...Collin Delome belted a sixth inning, pinch-hit home run in the sixth inning for the lead before a Hernandez single drove in a fourth run...The RedHawks scored an insurance run in the eighth inning for a 5-3 final...The RedHawks were 3x7 with runners in scoring position, while Nashville was 1x13...

Hawks Hitting in Homestand-- The RedHawks have collected at least nine hits in each game of the current homestand, posting a .319 (86x270) average in six games...The RedHawks are .286 (28x98) with runners in scoring position in the eight games, but have left 69 runners on base in the homestand...

Wright Saves Another-- Wesley Wright picked up his second save last night, dealing 1.2 innings with one hit...Wright's first save came July 22 against Memphis...Wright did allow an inherited runner to score, and of 25 inherited runners, 9 have scored against Wright...Wright is one of 10 RedHawks to record at least one save in 2011...

Double Play Defense-- The Oklahoma City RedHawks lead the Pacific Coast League with 128 double plays...The next-closest team is Salt Lake with 124 double plays...Iowa is last in the PCL with 81 twin-killings...

J.R. Towles Since Option-- Catcher J.R. Towles is batting .285 (14x49) with 2 HR and 7 RBI in 16 games with OKC since his option from Houston...Towles on-base percentage is .438, as he has collected eight walks and six hit-by-pitches with only five strikeouts...Towles was batting .180 (23x128) in 44 games with Houston...
