The Oklahoma City RedHawks continue a four-game series against the Fresno Grizzlies today at 2:05 p.m. CT at Chukchansi Park in Fresno, with Fresno leading the series 1-0...Tonight is game five of a 12-game road trip, starting with an eight-game swing through the Pacific Southern Division... The RedHawks just split a series at Sacramento and will travel to Nashville starting Friday for the final four games of the trip...The 12-game trip is required because of the Big 12 Baseball Tournament at RedHawks Field at Bricktown, running Tuesday (practice day) through Sunday...The RedHawks enter Tuesday in fourth place in the American Southern Division, 7.0 games back of first place Round Rock...The Grizzlies are in third place in the Pacific Southern, 8.0 games behind first place Sacramento... Today RH Nelson Figueroa will face Fresno RH Josh Banks...

RedHawks starter Nelson Figueroa makes his third appearance and second start with Oklahoma City today... Last time out Figueroa allowed two runs, three hits and three walks in five innings for a winning decision at Sacramento on May 19 (game one of series)...Figueroa won the #5 starting job with the Houston Astros during spring training and made five starts with Houston in the regular season before moving to the Astros bullpen for three appearances...Figueroa was designated for assignment, cleared waivers and accepted the assignment to Oklahoma City... Fresno starter Josh Banks is in his ninth season as a professional, and his first season with the Giants organization...Banks spent last year with the Astros, making 27 starts with Triple-A Round Rock (9-12, 4.04, 37 BB, 72 SO) and one start with Houston (0-1, 13.50)...In 2011, Banks has made 10 appearances with seven starts, posting a 3-2 record and 5.68 ERA with 7 walks and 23 strikeouts...Over his last three appearances, Banks has allowed a total of three earned runs in 16.0 innings (1.69 ERA)...

Fresno built an early 6-1 lead and held off a late RedHawks charge for a 7-5 win over Oklahoma City before 4,638 Monday night Chukchanci Park...Andrew Kown (6-3) allowed one run and four hits over six innings for the win while Douglas Arguello (2-5) gave up a season-high six runs with four hits and four walks over six innings in the losing decision... Marc Kroon (10) saved the game with a perfect ninth inning...Four different RedHawks recorded two hits, while Robinson Cancel extended a hitting streak to 14 games with an eighth inning pinch-hit RBI single...
