Dodgers newcomer Chris Taylor followed with a double. Zach Walters stepped up to bat next and tripled on a liner to center field to score Taylor and give the Dodgers a 2-1 lead. Later with two outs, second baseman Micah Johnson connected on a two-run double to center field for a 4-1 Oklahoma City advantage. Express starting pitcher Austin Bibens-Dirkx (0-1) was charged with the loss, allowing four runs and five hits over 4.0 innings.
