Triple-A Baseball announced today that the 29th annual Triple-A All-Star Game will be televised live on MLB Network on Wednesday, July 13 at 7 p.m. EST. The announcing team of Paul Severino, Bill Ripken, Jim Callis, and Sam Ryan will once again bring the action to viewers nationwide. The game also will be available to MiLB.TV subscribers live online at MiLB.com and on supported devices via the MiLB First Pitch mobile app. MLB Network's broadcast will also be available for live, authenticated streaming via MLB.com At Bat and MLBNetwork.com. The American Forces Network will also showcase the event, bringing MLB Network's telecast of the Triple-A All-Star Game to the U.S. Armed Forces stationed outside the contiguous United States on U.S. military installations and aboard U.S. Navy ships at sea. In addition, the game call will be simulcast on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM Channel 89.

The Sonic Automotive 2016 Triple-A All-Star Game, presented by Gildan, will take place at BB&T Ballpark in Charlotte, North Carolina. The game has been telecast nationally for most of its 29-year history, including every season since 1995, and 2016 will mark the seventh time the Triple-A All-Star Game has aired on MLB Network since 2010.

Returning for a fifth-straight year handling play-by-play duties on the telecast will be Paul Severino, who regularly hosts the Emmy Award-winning "MLB Tonight". For the past five years, Severino provided play-by-play for Arizona Fall League game telecasts on MLB Network, including the Rising Stars Games and Championship Games. 12-year Major League infielder and Emmy Award-winning commentator Bill Ripken is back to serve as an analyst for the Triple-A All-Star Game. Ripken's MLB playing career began with Baltimore in 1987 under the direction of his father, Cal Ripken, Sr., and alongside his brother Cal Ripken, Jr., marking the first and only time in Major League history that a father simultaneously managed two of his sons. In addition to the Orioles, Ripken also played for Texas, Cleveland, and Detroit. He is also a veteran of over 200 games at the Triple-A level with Rochester, Buffalo, and Toledo. He currently appears across MLB Network's programming as a studio analyst.

Joining Severino and Ripken in the booth will be Jim Callis from MLB.com. Callis (@jimcallisMLB on Twitter), is a senior writer who contributes to the popular MLBPipeline.com with draft and prospect rankings, analysis, team prospect updates and the MLB Pipeline podcast available on iTunes.

Returning to serve as field reporter for her fifth Triple-A All-Star Game telecast is the Emmy Award-winning Sam Ryan. The MLB Network studio host and reporter frequently appears on programming including "MLB Network Showcase" game telecasts and the MLB Network's highlights show of record, "Quick Pitch."

Matt Swierad, in his 19th season as the voice of the Charlotte Knights, along with Russ Langer, in his 17th season on the air for the Las Vegas 51s, will call the action for this year's broadcast on the Triple-A All-Star Game Radio Network. Swierad is the longest-running broadcaster in Knights history and will be attending his second Triple-A All-Star Game (2005). Langer is a 10-time Nevada Sportscaster of the Year who has been in the PCL since 1992, having called four years of games for the Phoenix Firebirds and Albuquerque Dukes before coming to Las Vegas.

Langer is also calling his second Triple-A All-Star Game (1995). Mike Pacheco, currently in his 11th season as a member of the Charlotte Knights broadcast team, will serve as the field reporter.
