
Only One Day Remains for Online Voting to 2016 Triple-A All-Star Game

ROUND ROCK, Texas - With just a day left to cast online votes to the 2016 Triple-A All-Star Game, the Pacific Coast League, in conjunction with Triple-A Baseball and MLBAM, released Thursday the final voting update. The middle infield positions have two new outright leaders, with Sacramento second baseman Ramiro Pena and Iowa shortstop Munenori Kawasaki. Additionally, Round Rock's Joey Gallo continues to pace all PCL players in votes, while the Iowa Cubs have a league-best five leaders.
Fan balloting will help determine the starting lineups for both All-Star teams. Until tomorrow, fans can cast their votes at the official websites of Minor League Baseball (MiLB.com), the Pacific Coast League (PCLBaseball.com), and the websites of all 16 PCL teams. Ballots can also be cast via mobile devices and tablets, and are available through the MiLB First Pitch app. The 29th annual Triple-All-Star Game will take place at the Charlotte Knights' BB&T Ballpark on Wednesday, July 13 at 7:00 EST.
