
Zephyrs Win Fourth Consecutive, Beat Omaha 9-3

Papillion, NE - Robert Andino hammered a pair of home runs and drove home four runs as the New Orleans Zephyrs won its fourth consecutive game in Omaha. The Zephyrs beat Omaha 9-3. New Orleans has defeated Omaha eight consecutive games, dating back to April.
The Zephyrs offense pounded out 13 hits with multi-hit efforts from Destin Hood, Xavier Scruggs, Don Kelly and Matt Juengel.
Chris Narveson earned the win pitching five and a third innings. He allowed one run on two hits and earned his third win. He left the game in the sixth after falling when fielding a ground ball.
Miguel Almonte allowed three runs in four innings and suffered the loss.
The Zephyrs are at .500 at 36-36. Omaha has dropped 18 of its last 22 games and is now 30-42.
GAME NOTES
The Zephyrs have won eight consecutive against Omaha this season, the first time in franchise history. New Orleans beat Omaha seven straight in 2007.
The lead off home run for Andino is the first of the season for the Zephyrs. Issac Galloway led off a game in Colorado Springs last September 4th.
The multi home run game for Andino is his first of the season, joining Austin Nola and Xavier Scruggs as the only Zephyrs to have accomplished that.
ON DECK
The Zephyrs continue the trip in Omaha on Friday. The Z's will start LHP Chris Reed against RHP Alec Mills The game will be broadcast on WODT Fox Sports 1280 AM and streamed at iHeart Radio App.
The Zephyrs return home on July 4th to face Round Rock in a three game series.
