Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers and New Orleans Baby Cakes meet for a doubleheader of two seven-inning games starting at 4:35 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The doubleheader is to make up a game that was rained out at New Orleans July 2, and the Baby Cakes will play as the home team in Game 1...The Dodgers have lost 11 of their last 12 home games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Last Game: New Orleans scored five runs as part of a wild fourth inning on the way to a 5-1 win against the Dodgers Monday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers took the game's first lead in the first inning on a RBI single by Kyle Farmer. New Orleans scored five runs in the fourth inning, largely aided by three errors committed by the Dodgers. A throwing error by Farmer on a bunt allowed a run to score and put runners at second and third base. Tomas Telis followed with a two-run triple and then scored on a throwing error by Dodgers second baseman Jake Peter for a 4-1 lead. Cristhian Adames came up to bat next and hit a single. He stole second base, then advanced to third base on Farmer's second throwing error of the inning. Peter Mooney's sacrifice fly boosted the Baby Cakes to a 5-1 lead. Dodgers starting pitcher Brock Stewart (1-2) threw 6.1 innings, allowing five runs (three earned) and five hits over 6.1 innings. Andrew Istler followed and held the Baby Cakes scoreless over 2.2 frames. Baby Cakes starting pitcher Zac Gallen (5-5) picked up the win, holding the Dodgers to one run and three hits over 6.0 innings, with four walks and seven strikeouts.

Today's Probable Pitchers: Daniel Corcino (2-2) makes his second appearance of July when he starts Game 1 today for the OKC Dodgers...Corcino has suffered back-to-back losses. Last time out July 12 in Round Rock, he allowed a season-high six runs and season-high eight hits over 3.1 IP with one walk and four strikeouts...Over his last three starts for OKC, Corcino has allowed 13 runs and 18 hits over 11.1 innings. Prior to that, he had allowed 13 runs over the course of the season (41.0 IP) and held opponents to a .184 batting average...Corcino had his contract selected by Los Angeles June 9 and he made his first ML appearance since Sept. 2014 that night with a 1-2-3 inning against Atlanta. In his next outing June 12 against Texas, he picked up his first career ML save. On July 4, Corcino was designated for assignment following a trade with Cincinnati and was outrighted to OKC July 8...Today is his second appearance of the season against New Orleans. On June 29 in New Orleans, Corcino was charged with his first loss, allowing three runs and five hits over 5.0 innings in OKC's 4-2 defeat.

Zach Neal (1-0) makes his third start of the season for OKC and first since being re-acquired by the Dodgers...Neal returned OKC following a four-player trade with Cincinnati July 4. He's made two relief appearances for OKC since, allowing one run and five hits over 6.2 IP, with one walk and six K's... He started the season with LAD, appearing in one game April 3 against Arizona at Chase Field before being designated for assignment April 5 and outrighted to OKC...He made two starts with OKC in April, allowing a combined four runs and nine hits over 9.2 IP with three walks and six strikeouts before an April 17 trade sent him to Cincinnati...Neal then made 18 appearances (three starts) with Triple-A Louisville, going 2-2 with one save and a 5.90 ERA. He allowed three walks against 23 strikeouts over 39.2 IP...Today he'll make his second start of the season against New Orleans. He allowed two runs and four hits over 5.2 IP, with one walk and three K's April 15 in OKC (ND).

Against the Baby Cakes: 2018: 6-6 2017: 6-9 All-time: 175-153 At OKC: 93-71

The Dodgers and Baby Cakes are meeting for their fourth and final series of the season. The teams will play five games in four days this week to make up a game that was rained out July 2 during their previous series at New Orleans...The teams recently met for their last series at The Shrine on Airline, June 29-July 3 with New Orleans winning the series, 3-2, and the Dodgers winning the final game of the set, 4-0...During the first series April 13-16 in OKC, the Dodgers swept the series, 4-0, and outscored the Baby Cakes, 29-18, and outhit New Orleans, 56-32, while closing the series with three straight walk-off wins...New Orleans won the 2017 series, 9-6, marking their first season series win against OKC since 2011 and just their second against OKC since 2006...During the 2018 season series between these teams, the home team is 9-3 so far...Henry Ramos has batted .439 (18x41), with four homers, eight extra-base hits and 18 RBI over 11 games versus the 'Cakes.

Double Trouble: Today is the Dodgers' fourth doubleheader of the season. So far they are 2-4 in doubleheader games with two splits and one losing sweep. In the team's previous doubleheader at home June 27 against Nashville, the team was swept for the first time at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark since Sept. 2, 2010, also against Nashville...Over the last nine doubleheaders, the team has a 0-4-5 record, going 2-7 in Game 1...The Dodgers and Baby Cakes split a doubleheader June 30 in New Orleans. The Dodgers took Game 1, 6-4, and jumped out to a 5-0 lead in Game 2 before the 'Cakes came back to win, 11-5...The Dodgers still have four doubleheaders to play this season following today's double dip, including one scheduled for Saturday in Nashville.

Warm Welcome: Donovan Solano went 1-for-4 last night and scored the team's lone run. In his first two games with the Dodgers since May 22 after missing close to two months due to a hamstring injury, Solano is 5-for-9 with four RBI and two runs...Prior to the injury, Solano was slashing .370/.419/.507 and ranked fourth in the PCL in batting average and fifth in hits. He's now up to 59 hits in 40 games with OKC...Including his time with the AZL Dodgers on rehab assignment, Solano is 16-for-34 with seven RBI over 10 contests since returning to game action.

Teach Me How to Dugie: Alex Verdugo is currently on a nine-game hitting streak, going 16-for-34 with five multi-hit outings, two homers and six runs scored. He has 32 hits over his last 22 games...Verdugo paces the Dodgers with 84 hits in 61 games, and his .350 season batting average is tied for tops in the PCL with Salt Lake's David Fletcher, who is currently with the Los Angeles Angels...Verdugo has eight homers this season after hitting six homers in 117 games last season with the team.

Broken Bats: Entering Monday, the Dodgers had batted .324 (71x219) and scored 44 runs in their previous six games, including tallying 11 runs and 16 hits on the road in Round Rock Sunday night. But on Monday, the Baby Cakes held the Dodgers to one run and four hits, marking the 10th time this season the Dodgers were held to one run or less. The four hits tied the team's season low in a nine-inning game, last done May 26 in Nashville. It was also the fifth time this season the team did not collect an extra-base hit.

Around the Horn: The Dodgers have scored first in six straight games but are just 3-3 during that stretch. The team is 4-7 the last 11 times scoring first after beginning the season 30-5...Kyle Farmer is 7-for-13 with four doubles over his last three games. Eight of his 15 hits this month have gone for extra bases...Brock Stewart's 6.1 innings yesterday marked the team's longest start since Manny Bañuelos turned in 7.0 innings May 21 at Memphis...Kyle Garlick's seven-game hitting streak came to an end last night. During that time, he went 13-for-29.
