Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers and Reno Aces meet for the third time in their four-game series at 9:05 p.m. CT at Greater Nevada Field. Through five games of their current West Coast road trip, the Dodgers are 3-2 and are tied, 1-1, in their series with the Aces.

Last Game: The Dodgers broke out of a recent rut, piling up 12 runs over the final five innings Sunday in a 12-9 win over Reno at Greater Nevada Field. The game was scoreless through four innings, but took a turn in the fifth inning when Edwin Ríos led off with a solo homer. Later with runners at the corners and one out, Logan Bawcom laid down a RBI squeeze bunt to make it 2-0. Reno rallied for five runs in the bottom of the inning, collecting six hits and taking advantage of a few miscues by the Dodgers for a 5-2 lead. The Dodgers responded with four runs in the sixth inning on four consecutive run-scoring hits with two outs. In the seventh inning, a RBI triple by Donovan Solano followed by a RBI single by Ríos pushed OKC's lead to 8-5. Reno got back within two runs in the eighth inning on a RBI double by Yasmany Tomás. The Dodgers added what proved to be four key runs in the top of the ninth. Solano hit an opposite field, three-run homer to right field, and Jake Peter delivered a two-out RBI single to make it 12-6. Brian Schlitter retired the first two batters of the ninth before the Aces rallied for three runs on four straight hits. With the tying run on deck, Pat Venditte entered the game and struck out Tomás to end the game for his fourth save. Bawcom (1-1) completed four stellar innings before running into trouble in the fifth. He earned the win, although he was charged with five runs and eight hits. Joel Payamps (0-1) took the loss for Reno after allowing nine hits and six runs over three innings.

They had also been held to seven hits or less six times and totaled 10 hits just once. On Sunday, the Dodgers responded with 12 runs on 18 hits. The 12 runs marked the team's highest total since a 13-3 win over Nashville May 17, and also equaled the team's run total through the first four games of the current road trip. The team's nine extra-base hits for the game also matched a season high (May 10 vs. Memphis). Dominant Donovan: Donovan Solano connected on three extra-base hits yesterday, tallying a double, triple and home run, along with a game-high four RBI and three runs scored. It was also his third game with three or more RBI over the same stretch...Yesterday was his second game this season with three extra-base hits (also May 20 vs. Nashville) and marked the fourth time this season a Dodger has tallied three XBH in the same game...Since returning from the DL, Solano is batting .390 (23x59) with 14 RBI and 10 runs scored over 16 games, while ranking fifth in the PCL in batting average during that span...Since his return, the Dodgers are 12-4 when Solano is in the starting lineup and 1-5 when he is not, with losses in five straight.

Mound Turnaround: The Dodgers have allowed at least five runs in three straight games for the first time since a stretch of five straight games July 7-14 against Round Rock around the PCL All-Star Break. Entering Friday night's series finale in Tacoma, the Dodgers had allowed a total of nine runs over the previous five games before the Rainiers exploded for 13 runs Friday, the Aces scored five runs Saturday and tallied nine more Sunday. Over the three games, opponents have combined to bat .373 (44x118)...Dodgers starting pitchers had combined for a 1.25 ERA and .193 BAA over the previous nine games prior to Friday, but over the last three games the starters have allowed 16 runs in 16.1 innings with opponents batting .338 (26x74)...Over the last three games, opponents have combined for 15 extra-base hits. The Dodgers had allowed two or fewer extra-base hits in 17 of the previous 18 games, including nine straight entering Friday.

For Whom the Bell Toles: Andrew Toles went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and scored two runs Sunday and has now hit safely in 15 of his last 16 starts with OKC and in 14 of his last 16 games overall. Since July 7, he is batting .356 (21x59) with six multi-hit outings in PCL play.

They are 15-11 against Pacific Conference teams so far in 2018, including 7-5 on the road...Pat Venditte recorded the final out yesterday for his fourth save.
