*Time To Go Ape!:* The Tulsa Oilers host the Amarillo Gorillas tonight, in the only visit of the year to the BOK Center by the skating primates.

*Records: *Oilers are 1-4-1 with 1 point in fourth place in the Northeast Division.

Amarillo is 3-6-0 for 6 points in fourth place in the Southwest Division.

*Season Series: *This is the first of only two meetings between these two teams this season. The Oilers will visit Amarillo on January 30^th .

*Recent Action: *The Oilers dropped a 3-1 decision at Bossier-Shreveport last night, with all three goals against coming in the second period. Amarillo defeated Rapid City 6-3 last night in Amarillo. It was the third win in the last four games for the Gorillas, after an 0-5-0 start to the season.

*Extra Eyes:* Chad MacLeod is assisting head coach Dan Hodge behind the bench tonight. MacLeod is the head coach of the Tulsa Rampage Junior A hockey team (they have this weekend off), and also assisted the Oilers in training camp.

*Start Anew:* Center Brendon Hodge will look to start a new scoring streak tonight. The Oilers leading scorer (3G, 5A) had points in the Oilers' first five games of the season.

*And Keep Rolling:* Michel Beausoleil assisted on Chris Kovalcik's goal last night giving him points in the last four games he's played in. In that stretch, he has two goals and four assists with one assist in each of the four games.

*Lone Cowboy: *Twice this season, the Oilers have been held to one goal, and in both games Kovalcik had the goal (Oct. 25 vs. Oklahoma City and last night at Bossier-Shreveport).

*What's A Bus?:* Tonight is only the second road game of the year for Amarillo which has already played eight home games (that's more than the Oilers total games played of six).

*Next Up: *The Oilers start a three game road trip Tuesday at Colorado at 8:05 p.m. They play there again on Friday at 8:05 and then travel to Mississippi for a 7:05 p.m. contest on November 18^th . They won't play at home again until November 21^st against Mississippi at 7:35 p.m. Amarillo will visit Odessa on Friday night.
