
Oil Kings to Play Lethbridge Hurricanes in First Round of WHL Playoffs

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings will take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the first round of the 2022 WHL Playoffs.
The Western Hockey League Playoffs return for the first time since 2019 and the Oil Kings will have home-ice advantage in their first round series against the Hurricanes.
The Oil Kings have clinched top spot in the Central Division for the fourth consecutive season and are locked into the second overall seed in the Eastern Conference, while the Hurricanes are locked into the seventh seed in the conference.
The Oil Kings went 6-2-0-0 against the Hurricanes during the 2021-22 Regular Season.
