Hitmen Leave the Road with 5-1 Setback at Lethbridge

Lethbridge, AB - The Calgary Hitmen closed their 2021-22 WHL Regular Season road schedule with a 5-1 loss to the Hurricanes in Lethbridge on Saturday night at ENMAX Centre.

Jett Jones notched a pair of goals for the 'Canes including the game winner which broke a 1-1 second period tie. Tristen Doyle, Joe Arntsen and Liekit Reichle also found the back of the net for the home side.

David Adaszynski supplied the lone goal for Calgary, his seventh of the season, as the Hitmen saw their three game winning streak come to an end.

Final shots were 28-22 Lethbridge.

The Hitmen, with three games left in the regular season, remain a point behind Swift Current for the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot. The Broncos have just one game to go on their schedule.

Calgary will use up one of those games in hand tomorrow afternoon when they return home on Sunday, April 10 to host the Edmonton Oil Kings. Game time is 2:00 p.m. at Scotiabank Saddledome. Fans are invited to take part in the post-game RAM Family skate that is FREE with a game ticket. It's also another Sunday Funday in the 'Dome featuring "Farley's Family Feast" with special $2 prices for cotton candy, water, pop, hot dogs and popcorn plus select $5 menu items including pizza and hamburgers.
