Offense Stymied in Loss to Missions

San Antonio, TX-Chris Paddack delivered an impressive performance in his Double-A debut as the held the Arkansas Travelers to just one hit (a Joey Curletta homer) over six innings in leading the San Antonio Missions to a 7-2 win on Saturday night. The defeat was the Travs third in a row and marked the second time in three games they were held to a season-low two hits. Paddack was the winning pitcher while Max Povse took the loss. Despite going six innings, Povse was touched for six runs with most of the damage coming in the second inning when San Antonio scored five times. The game was delayed one hour at the start by rain and still saw the first four innings played with a light rain coming down.

Moments That Mattered

* Curletta went opposite field for his 15th homer of the season to give the Travs a brief lead.

* San Antonio answered by batting around in the bottom of the inning scoring five times on only three hits. There were two walks, a hit batsman and a pair of wild pitches. The big blow of the inning was a three-run triple by Ty France into the right field corner.
