The PawSox erupted for 8 runs on 12 hits, including three home runs on Tuesday afternoon at McCoy Stadium, blanking Lehigh Valley 8-0. Mauro Gomez (2), Daniel Nava (1) and Will Middlebrooks (1), all went deep. Luis Exposito added a pair of doubles and an RBI. Pedro Ciriaco had a couple of infield hits.
Pawtucket pitchers continue to shine. Starter Ross Ohlendorf was magnificent in victory. Ohlendorf (1-0) allowed just two hits, back to back singles in the second inning. Chorye Spoon and Garrett Mock combined for three scoreless innings of relief. Through 6 games (3-3) the team ERA is a league-leading 1.26
The PawSox begin their first road trip of the season in Rochester on Wednesday night at 7:05 p.m. Justin Germano (1-0) will face lefty Scott Diamond (1-0).
