SPLITSVILLE: The Rochester Red Wings salvaged a split of their 4-game series vs. Buffalo with a 5-3 win...for the 2nd game in a row, the Wings got a late-inning homer to win it...Brian Dozier's 2-run blast yesterday gave the Wings a 3-2 win and Brian Dinkelman's 3-run shot today gave Rochester a 5-3 victory.

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS: Each of Rochester's 6 games have been decided by 3 runs or less.

WHAT A RELIEF: Red Wings relievers have worked 7.0 consecutive scoreless innings over the last 2 games...the relief corps has a 2.63 ERA (7 ER/24.0 IP) overall.

GOTCHA!!: Catcher J.R Towles threw out the only 2 potential base stealers against him...overall, Red Wings catchers have gunned down 3 of 4 potential base stealers.
