Breezy Today, Warm Friday Night
April 10, 2012 - International League (IL1)
Indianapolis Indians News Release
INDIANAPOLIS -- As Victory Field wraps up a midweek non-conference matchup between Butler University and Ball State University, a chill in the air serves as a reminder that the Indianapolis Indians have guaranteed a game-time temperature of at least 60 degrees for Friday night's home opener.
If the temperature is not at least 60 degrees when the Indians host the Toledo Mud Hens at 7:15 p.m. on April 13, each ticket holder will receive a free ticket to another home game in April. The Tribe has nine other home games in April.
In the event that the temperature does not reach 60 degrees on Friday, fans do not have to redeem free tickets that same night. Tickets can be redeemed any time at the Indians box office, which is open during all home games, and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. during the week and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday non-game days.
