OF Lucas Montero Placed on DL; LHP Eric Berger Joins Aeros

The Aeros made a couple of roster moves today as OF Lucas Montero was put on the disabled list retro to Friday, August 20, and received LHP Eric Berger from Class AAA Columbus.
Berger was transferred to the Clippers on July 27 and went 0-1 giving up 18 runs (16 earned) on 31 hits, two home runs. The Goldsboro, N.C. native struckout 17 and walked 20 over 24.2 combined innings in five games. In 15 games with the Aeros, he went 4-5 with a 5.07 ERA giving up 41 runs (40 earned) on 71 hits with 58 strikeouts and 41 walks. He will be wearing jersey No. 29.
The Aeros roster remains at 24 men.
