The Chicago Cubs have made the following moves that impact the Myrtle Beach Pelicans roster:
OF Grant Fennell activated from the 7-day injured list to Myrtle Beach
OF Zach Davis placed on the 7-day injured list from Myrtle Beach
Fennell missed 13 games on the injured list. The utility man started the season 0-for-16 before being placed on the injured list on April 11. A non-drafted free agent out of the University of Nevada, Fennell hit .305/.362/.487 between Mesa and Short Season Low A Eugene last year. A native of San Diego, Calif., Fennell won the Mountain West Tony Gwynn Player of the Year award in his final season with the Wolfpack.
The current roster now sits at 25 active players with one rehabber and one player on the 7-day injured list.
