WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - DL Hall and Luis Perez combined to strike out 15 Dash hitters and allowed just three hits as the Frederick Keys beat the Winston-Salem Dash 7-0 on Friday night at BB&T Ballpark.

Hall (1-0) earned the win by allowing just one hit and striking out eight across five innings of work. Offensively, the Keys (9-12) racked up 13 hits, including three-hit nights from Jomar Reyes and Zach Jarrett.

Winston-Salem (11-11) did receive another stellar relief effort from Alec Hansen in the loss. Hansen struck out four Keys hitters in two perfect innings across the seventh and eighth. The right-hander has allowed just one hit and racked up 18 strikeouts across 10 innings of work in the 2019 season.

Dash starter Cristian Castillo (0-3) allowed just one hit in the first three innings, but Frederick began the fourth with three straight singles from Reyes, Jarrett and Trevor Craport. After a Willy Yahn popout and Jean Carillo strikeout, Kirvin Moesquit reached on an error by Dash third baseman Yeyson Yrizarri, allowing Reyes to score. Castillo then walked Cole Billingsley, scoring Jarrett to make it 2-0.

The Keys added two more in the fifth, as Reyes ripped an opposite-field home run to right field, making it 4-0. Frederick continued to pile on in the sixth, as Moesquit scored on a wild pitch from Will Kincanon to push the lead to five.

Meanwhile, Keys pitching continue to hold the Dash bats in check. In relief of Hall, Perez allowed just two hits and struck out seven Winston-Salem hitters in four innings of work to earn his second save of the season.

Frederick added two more insurance runs in the ninth on RBI singles from Jarrett and Yahn to make it 7-0.

Winston-Salem continues its series with Frederick on Saturday. Left-hander John Parke (1-1, 4.35 ERA) is set to take the mound for the Dash against right-hander David Lebron (0-0, 5.23 ERA) for Frederick. First pitch is set for 2:00 p.m., and fans can catch all of the action on wsdash.com/broadcast, MiLB.tv and the TuneIn Radio App.

Saturday's game will include live music prior to the game and is a Chick-fil-A Four Pack Night. The series finale is a Lowes Foods Family Sunday.
