The Zephyrs opened a ten game road trip on Monday scoring ten runs on 14 hits and defeated the Round Rock Express 10-5 in front of 8,372 at The Dell Diamond.

The Z's have won four of their last five games and are within a game of .500 for the season.

The Z's jumped out to 5-0 lead early in the game, scoring runs in the first three innings.

Round Rock tied the contest with a Collin DeLome grand slam in the fourth.

The Z's scored the go ahead run in the fifth on a Josh Banks wild pitch.

Brad Davis drilled a two run home run in the ninth inning and the Zephyrs held on for the win.

Banks suffered the defeat and Brian Lawrence won for the fifth time in his last six starts.
