NJM & Trenton Thunder Team up to Support the Children's Home Society of NJ

April 18, 2012 - Eastern League (EL1)
Trenton Thunder News Release

(Trenton, NJ) When the Trenton Thunder, the Double A affiliate of the New York Yankees, score runs at home this season, the real winner will be the Children's Home Society of New Jersey thanks to NJM Insurance Group.

The Thunder and NJM Insurance Group of West Trenton have teamed up for the Safe At Home promotion at all home games this season. Through this promotion, NJM will make a $50 donation to the Children's Home Society of New Jersey for every run Trenton scores at Waterfront Park. Through the first six home games of the season, a total of $1,700 has been raised. The Thunder return home to face New Hampshire this Thursday, April 19 at 7:05pm and play a total of 71 home games.

The Safe At Home promotion is part of a larger partnership between the Thunder and NJM that also includes sponsorship of the NJM Fan Services booth on the main concourse, stadium signage and more.

NJM Insurance Group's exclusive focus is on service, which both of these programs provide -- special care for foster children by the Children's Home Society, and friendly assistance to fans attending games.

" This partnership not only raises awareness for the NJM Insurance Group brand but it directly benefits a great organization that helps children and families in need," said Thunder Director of Community Relations Patience Purdy. "We're excited to work with such an outstanding member of the Trenton business community and to do so much good in the process. We're hoping for a lot of high scoring games this season!"

All Trenton Thunder tickets are on sale now at trentonthunder.com.
