
Nick Brown activated from 7-day disabled list

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Minnesota Twins announce that RHP Nick Brown has been activated from the 7-day disabled list. Jeremy Zoll, Twins Director of Minor League Operations, announced the move.
Brown went on the DL back on April 27 with a right calf strain. He has made three appearances (two starts) for the Kernels this season, posting an 0-0 record and 5.02 ERA. In 14.1 IP, he allowed 17 hits and eight runs with six walks and 12 strikeouts. He was selected by the Twins in the 32nd round of the 2017 First Year Player Draft out of William and Mary.
Brown is active and available for tonight's 6:35 PM game vs. West Michigan. With today's transaction, the Kernels roster is at the MWL maximum of 25 active players, with four players currently on the DL, one player on the suspended list and one player on the military leave list.
The Kernels continue a six-game home stand tonight at 6:35 PM against the West Michigan Whitecaps, the MWL affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The home stand continues through Sunday, May 6th and gates open tonight at 5:30 PM.
