FAR FARRAR AWAY: Snappers outfielder Logan Farrar has now homered in 2 of his last five game (4/26 vs. PEO & 5/1 @ FW). He hit .370-2-8 (10-27, 3 R, 2 2B, 3B, BB, 3 K) from 4/13-4/26. He also hit his first HR of season on 4/21 @ CLI.
BIG RED: With his base hit lastnight, Hunter Hargrove has now hit safely in a team season-high six games. During the streak the former Texas Tech product began 4/27 vs. CLI, Hargrove is hitting .304-0-2 (7-23, 3 R, BB). He has also raised his avg from .241 to .265 over the stretch.
BUSHEL AND A BECK: Snappers outfielder Austin Beck leads the team with 14 RBI and had a career-high 4 RBI night on 4/7 @ WIS, also had a career-high 4 hits on 5/2 @ FW. He also hit his first home run as a Snapper on 4/20 @ CLI. From 4/12-4/27, Beck hit.357-1-8 in 10 G (15-42, 6 R, 2 2B, 3B, 2 BB, 12 K). Saw his 5-G hit streak end 4/28,vs. CLI .381-0-2 (8-21, 2 R, 2B, BB, 7 K) from 4/23 vs. PEO to P4/28 vs. CLI.
ON THE MARKS: Snappers pitcher Wyatt Marks has not allowed an ER in his last 9.2 IP dating back to 4/27 vs. CLI. In the last two games, Marks has also racked up 16 of his 33 strikeouts. His 33 punchouts rank him t-3rd in MWL. He was recently named Baseball Prospectus prospect of the week for his performance on 4/27 vs. CLI. The right-hander tossed 4.2 scoreless innings, tying a season and career-high 9 K while allowing just two hits.
