
New York City FC Announce 2019 Regular Season Schedule

New York City FC News Release
NEW YORK, N.Y. - New York City FC today announced the Club's 2019 MLS Regular Season schedule.
Spanning eight months of the calendar, NYCFC's fifth campaign is comprised of 34 regular season games, including 17 in New York.
As previously announced, NYCFC kicks off the season away against Orlando City SC on Saturday, March 2 at 2:30 p.m. and hosts the Home Opener at Yankee Stadium on Sunday, March 10 at 3:00 p.m. vs. D.C. United.
Following those two games, NYCFC will welcome LAFC to Yankee Stadium for the first time on Sunday, March 17 at 3:00 p.m. before traveling to BMO Field for an early season tussle with Toronto FC on Friday, March 29.
NYCFC will host the Hudson River Derby in 2019 vs. Red Bulls at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m., one month after traveling to Red Bull Arena for the first rivalry match on Sunday, July 14.
The highly anticipated matchups with MLS Cup champions Atlanta United FC arrive in the second half of the campaign, with the first clash vs. Frank de Boer's side taking place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday, August 11, before the Five Stripes visit the Bronx for the Club's final home game on Wednesday, September 25.
League newcomers FC Cincinnati face off against NYCFC for the first time on Thursday, June 6, while City makes their first trip to Nippert Stadium in Ohio on Saturday, August 17.
NYCFC closes out the 2019 MLS regular season vs. Philadelphia once again, but this time Domenec Torrent's men end on the road at Talen Energy Stadium on Sunday, October 6.
The 2019 Regular Season wraps earlier than in previous years, allowing the entirety of the MLS Playoffs bracket to played out between the October and November FIFA international breaks.
Following NYCFC's Decision Day match vs. the Philadelphia Union on October 6, MLS playoff matches will commence on October 19 with MLS Cup slated for November 10.
