January 7, 2019 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
San Jose Earthquakes News Release

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes today unveiled their 2019 MLS regular season schedule, which includes 16 matches at Avaya Stadium and the California Clasico at Stanford Stadium.

Fourteen of the 17 home games will be played on Saturdays, including each of the first eight, with two Wednesday matches and the season's penultimate contest on Sunday afternoon. The Quakes will also be featured on national television nine times, up from five in 2018, including seven matches on Univision Deportes and two on UniMás.

The Earthquakes will open the season against Argentine winger Ignacio Piatti and the Montreal Impact on Saturday, March 2 at 6:45 p.m. It marks the second time in three years that San Jose hosts Montreal on opening day.

The Quakes will play four of their first five matches at Avaya Stadium, with their lone road contest during the stretch coming in Week 3 against the New York Red Bulls (March 16; 12:30 p.m.).

San Jose hosts FC Cincinnati for the first time ever on Saturday, May 4 at 6:45 p.m. The expansion side recently acquired Costa Rica National Team center back Kendall Waston, 2018 MLS Cup champion Greg Garza, and Jamaican forward Darren Mattocks, among others.

The California Clasico takes place on Saturday, June 29 (6:30 p.m.) when San Jose hosts the rival LA Galaxy at Stanford Stadium. More details about the premier Bay Area summer sporting event will be announced at a later date.

The Quakes close out the season by playing seven of their final 11 matches away from home, including consecutive road showdowns with Real Salt Lake (Sept. 11; 6:30 p.m.), New York City FC (Sept. 14; 4 p.m.) and Atlanta United FC (Sept. 21; 12:30 p.m.).

For fans that want to be part of the Earthquakes matchday experience all season long, the recently launched Terrace Pass grants access to each of the 20 home matches in 2019 for just $250. The pass is offered on a standing-room-only basis for all 16 regular season matches and three bonus games at Avaya Stadium, providing an alternative for fans who want to support the team from either the TCL 4K Bar or Supporters' Terrace.

The Terrace Pass also includes a ticket in either the north or south supporters' section for the California Clasico, which has drawn more than 50,000 fans every year since its inception in 2012.

The Terrace Pass includes some of the same great benefits as a traditional season pass, including discounts on merchandise and parking, inclusion to presales, invitation to select season pass holder events, and more. However, the benefits are limited in comparison to existing plans. The pass is completely digital and provides access to tickets the day of each match that are not printable, transferable or available for resale. It also does not come with a dedicated Fan Relations Specialist or access to future Devotion Day events.

A limited amount of Terrace Passes are available on a first come, first served basis and are expected to sell out. For more information or to reserve your pass today, click here.

Single-game tickets will be available for purchase starting January 25 at 10 a.m. Groups of 10 or more can access an advance window to purchase tickets ahead of the general public by placing a priority group deposit. Click here to make your deposit today.

Note: A full local broadcast schedule will be available at a later date. Not all game times have been announced.
