New York City FC 2016 Regular Season Schedule Set

New York City FC News Release
New York City FC announced its 2016 regular season schedule, featuring 17 games at Yankee Stadium. The Club will start the season on the road at Chicago on March 6 and will play their Home Opener on March 13 against Toronto FC (ESPN).
The schedule will feature a three match series against the Red Bulls, with the first two matches being played at Yankee Stadium. The first match at Yankee Stadium is on May 21 (FOX), while the second match will be played on July 3 (ESPN). The final match between the two, which will be played at Red Bull arena, is scheduled for July 24 (FOX).
New York City FC will travel to Portland on May 15 to take on defending MLS Cup Champions, Portland Timbers (Fox Sports 1).
Five MLS teams will make their first trip to Yankee Stadium in 2016: Vancouver on April 30, Real Salt Lake on June 1, Sporting Kansas City on July 10 (Fox Sports 1), LA Galaxy on Aug 20 (ESPN) and FC Dallas on Sept. 17.
The Club will finish the 2016 MLS regular season at Yankee Stadium against Columbus on Oct. 23.
