New Schedule for Upcoming Dash Games

WINSTON-SALEM, NC (May 15, 2012) -The Dash have announced schedule changes for their games Monday, May 28, Friday, June 8, and Sunday, August 26.
The Dash and the Frederick Keys will now play a doubleheader May 28, with the first pitch of game one starting at the originally scheduled time of 4 p.m.
Winston-Salem and Wilmington will finish a suspended game from earlier this season and then follow suit with a seven-inning contest on Friday, June 8. These two clubs could not finish a game at BB&T Ballpark April 22, so game one will resume with the Blue Rocks leading 3-1 in the bottom of the first.
On Sunday, August 26, the start time was moved up to 2 p.m. to allow families to make it out to the ballpark. The first day of classes for most area schools is Monday, August 27, and the Dash do not want to keep children and parents out late on a school night.
Fans that can no longer attend the rescheduled games are able to exchange their tickets for any Sunday through Thursday game on the Dash schedule except for the 2012 All-Star Game and the 4th of July. Ticket exchanges can also be made at the Dash box office which is open weekdays from 12-5 p.m. and on all home games.
The Dash also have an altered schedule this evening at BB&T Ballpark. Following a postponement Monday night, Winston-Salem will take on Myrtle Beach in a twin bill beginning at 6 p.m. Game two of the double dip will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the first game.
The Winston-Salem Dash and BB&T Ballpark will host the 2012 California-Carolina League All-Star Game on June 19. Tickets to All-Star week events are currently on sale. You can secure your seats by calling the Dash at (336) 714-2287.
