
New Media Director Joins Albuquerque Thunderbirds

Albuquerque, NM, Wednesday, December 3, 2008 - Heather Shore, a 14-year marketing and advertising executive, joins the Albuquerque Thunderbirds (Tbirds) as the new Director of Media and Community Relations. Heather has lived in Albuquerque for several years and has worked for the Jewish Federation of New Mexico and the City of Albuquerque's Transit Department. During her career she's also worked at American Express, the Los Angeles Opera and the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation. She received her BA degree from Penn State University and an MS in Business and Organizational Development from Johns Hopkins Univeristy.
Ms. Shore is replacing Megan Brewer, who recently joined the New Mexico Lobos.
"We're thrilled that Heather has joined our team. She is both enthusiastic and experienced...we are excited to have her working with us to continue expanding our fan base in Albuquerque" said Jackie Bregman, one of the local owners of the Thunderbirds.
