New Mexico Thunderbirds To Host Hoops For Education Night

New Mexico Thunderbirds News Release
The New Mexico Thunderbirds professional basketball team is hosting "Hoops for Education Night" on Friday, April 1, 2011 @ 7:30pm, at the Santa Ana Star Center.
All New Mexico students and teachers are invited to participate in this exciting educational program. The Team is offering concourse space at the event to showcase the outstanding work of New Mexico's students, including art, writing and science projects, special presentations and community service presentations as part of the event.
As part of the event, Cleveland High School's Robotics Club will be on hand to put on a robotics demonstration for the crowd, showing off the robots that they build and use to compete in Robo Rave. Holy Ghost Catholic School, which was recently selected as one of the 2009 National Blue Ribbon Schools, will be attending to highlight and showcase this outstanding achievement.

Single and group tickets are now available for just $10 per person by calling the T-Birds office at 265-3865. The Thunderbirds also offer family four packs at every game, which include 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 nachos, and 4 drinks for only $44.
