Tulsa 66ers Host Weekend Back-To-Back

TULSA, Okla. March 24, 2011- The Tulsa 66ers, leaders of the Western Conference with a 31-15 record, continue their homestand with back-to-back home games this Friday and Saturday, March 25-26. The 66ers will host the Texas Legends on Friday followed by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Saturday. Both contests are scheduled to tip at 7 p.m. CT inside the Tulsa Convention Center.

The weekend games can be viewed online via webcast at nba.com/futurecast and can be heard in Tulsa on KAKC 1300 AM.

Tulsa, who is coming off of a 97-94 home win over the Austin Toros on Tuesday night, is one game ahead of Rio Grande Valley (30-16) in the conference standings. The Legends bring a 20-25 overall record to Tulsa.

The 66ers are 5-2 this season against the Legends, including a 2-0 mark at home. In their last meeting, Tulsa recorded a 94-86 home victory inside the Convention Center on Feb. 26.

Saturday's contest will mark just the second meeting between Tulsa and Rio Grande Valley this season. The two teams matched up on Dec. 5 in Tulsa when the Vipers posted a 117-105 victory.

Fans can take advantage of a ticket package for both weekend games that includes a lower-level seat, hot dog and soda for just $10.

Promotions for Friday night include performances from the Owasso Choir and Drum Line. Saturday's game will feature a celebration for Fit 66 participants and a pre-game sports clinic hosted by Amazing Athletes. St. Jude's Children's Hospital will be the non-profit of the night.
