March 24, 2011 - NBA G League (G League)
Springfield Armor News Release

SPRINGFIELD, MA MAR. 24, 2011 - The Springfield Armor announced today that rookie forward Craig Brackins (6'10, 230, Iowa State) has been reassigned to the Springfield Armor. This marks the third and final time Brackins will be assigned to the Armor this season.

Brackins' assignment marks the fifth time during the 2010-11 season that an NBA player has been assigned to the Springfield Armor. The Armor now boast the most NBA assignments of any D-League team this season.

Brackins was previously assigned to Springfield on Nov. 30th and Mar. 15th, and played in 14 games with the Armor (nine starts). He averaged 19.9 points and 9.1 rebounds in 37.2 minutes per game. Brackins scored a season-high 31 points in the Armor's Jan. 15th victory over the Erie BayHawks.

Brackins has also appeared in three games with the Philadelphia 76ers this season, averaging 2.7 points in 11.0 minutes per game.

An early entry candidate for the 2010 NBA Draft, Brackins was selected 21st overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of a draft-day swap with the New Orleans Hornets and was then dealt to Philadelphia in September.

Brackins will join the Armor for practice tomorrow and will be in uniform for Saturday's regular season home finale against the New Mexico Thunderbirds at 8:00 p.m. at the MassMutual Center in Springfield.
