
New England Revolution Academy Highlights: October 6, 2023

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - All five Revolution Academy teams traveled to Rochester, N.Y. last weekend to take on RNYFC where New England tacked on four more clean sheet wins to its MLS NEXT fall season.
The U-17s earned a 2-0 shutout win over Rochester, with Tommy Tsouros (2008 - Bow, N.H.) and Bryan Norena (2008 - Revere, Mass.) finding the back of the net. Owen Beninga (2007 - Jackson, W.Y.) and Sean Cory (2008 - Wrentham, Mass.) split time in goal to earn the clean sheet. Malik Akin (2006 - Altamonte Springs, Fla.) tallied New England's lone goal in the U-19s' 3-1 loss to Rochester.
Alex Glassman (2009 - Westborough, Mass.) earned the assist on Judah Siqueira's (2009 - South Easton, Mass.) 19th minute goal to secure the U-15s 1-0 win on Saturday while Ryker Fauth (2009 - Milford, Mass.) started in net to help secure the shutout.
The U-14s recorded a 2-0 win over Rochester with Logan Azar (2010 - Hudson, Mass.) registering a goal-and-assist performance while Brandon Velez (2010 - Concord, Mass.) tallied the second goal of the win.
The U-13s dominated their match, earning an 8-0 win on Saturday. Davi Pereira (2011 - Revere, Mass.) recorded a hat trick and one assist while Rikelme De Almeida (2011 - Easton, Mass.) and Arthur Bernadino (2011 - Shirley, Mass.) each tallied a goal and assist of their own. Jason Kamerzel-Smith (2011 - Arlington, Mass.), Landon Ho Sang (2011 - Ludlow, Mass.), and Nolan Nairn (2012 - Springfield, Mass.) rounded out the scoring for New England's newest Academy team.
