Academy Update: September 2023 Players of the Month

With the first month of the new season for the Inter Miami CF Academy presented by Baptist Health now in the rearview mirror, we present to you three young rising stars who earned Player of the Month honors for September due to their hard work and dedication.

Let's get the ball rolling with our youngest age bracket, with U-13 attacker Matthew Deliverance being selected as September's Player of the Month.

"Matthew has demonstrated a high level of consistency during the early part of the season in all phases of the game but also in his work ethic and preparation. He is a very complete number 9 who works for the team, to hold up play, threaten space in behind, distribute to teammates, and finally create goal scoring opportunities for others as well as scoring for himself. We hope that his performances continue to improve and excel throughout the season and that it is contagious to the rest of his teammates," detailed U-13 Academy team head coach Gibran Tevar.

Moving onto our mid-level age group, it was U-14 player Diego Dini who got the nod as Player of the Month.

"Diego has consistently been a top performer for the team during the first month of the season. He has played in multiple positions, and has consistently shown quality on the ball, quickness, and game understanding," said coach Pedro Cavalcanti.

Lastly, U-19 midfielder Yuval Cohen earned Player of the Month honors for our eldest age bracket.

"Yuval is our Player of the month after scoring six goals in five games. He has been key in helping the team earn four wins and a draw in the first five games of the 2023-24 season," expressed U-19 head coach Giuseppe Depalo.
