LONG ISLAND - The Long Island Nets (15-8), the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, defeated the Delaware Blue Coats (12-6) 119-113 on Wednesday evening at Nassau Coliseum. Tonight's victory against the Blue Coats marks the seventh consecutive win for Long Island.

Long Island was led by forward and NBA G League Player of the Month Craig Randall II as he tallied 30 points, five rebounds and eight assists in 42 minutes. Nets guard Tyrone Wallace recorded 25 points, four rebounds and five assists in 40 minutes. Long Island center Thon Maker added an NBA G League career-high 21 points to go along with 11 rebounds while shooting 9-of-10 from the field in 25 minutes off the bench.

Long Island and Delaware got off to a slow start, as the two teams went scoreless for the first 1:30 of the opening quarter until Nets guard Bryce Brown broke the ice with a step-back jump shot. Long Island closed the first quarter ahead by six, 29-23. Delaware came into the second period looking to turn the tides, but the Nets continued to lead defensively by outrebounding the Blue Coats by four, 11-7, in the second. Long Island maintained its lead into halftime ahead by 11, 61-50.

The Blue Coats sought redemption in the second half, but Long Island refused to go down easy. The Nets outscored Delaware 26-18 in the third quarter to head into the final quarter of action ahead by 19, 87-68. Although the Blue Coats outscored the Nets 45-32 in the fourth, their strong offensive effort was not enough to close. Long Island went on to defeat Delaware by six, 119-113.

Philadelphia two-way forward Charlie Brown Jr. had a strong game for the Blue Coats, tallying 24 points, 10 rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes. Delaware forward Braxton Key added 21 points, three rebounds and three assists in 24 minutes.

The Nets will play their next game on the road against Cleveland on Sunday, March 6, at 12:30 p.m. ET, while the Blue Coats will return home to face Westchester on Saturday, March 5, at 7 p.m. ET.
