The Owen Sound Attack has named Captain Zach Nastasiuk the Becker Shoes Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 18th.
Nastasiuk lead the way for the Attack on the weekend, tallying four goals and three assists, while being in on all but one of the Attack's eight goals this past weekend.
Nastasiuk lead the way on Thursday in Peterborough with a goal and two assists and was also named the games 2nd star in a 3-1 win. The Red Wings prospect followed that up with another 2nd Star performance in the Nations Capital on Friday when he gathered a goal and an assist in a 4-2 loss.
The Barrie native continued his hot hand on Sunday in Mississauga, earning a first star performance when he notched two goals in another 3-1 Attack win.
The veteran forward now sits 16th in league scoring and is on pace for his first 30 goal season.
Nastasiuk and the Attack is back in action this weekend as they host the Kingston Frontenacs and Erie Otters. Tickets for both games are available at the DJ's Furniture Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com or by calling (519) 371-7452.
Game time on Saturday is 7:30pm while action gets underway on Sunday at 2:00pm. Fans are reminded about the Bell skate and autograph session with the team immediately following Sunday's game.
