Nason Promoted by Monarchs

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have promoted Josh Nason to the club's Director of Marketing, the team announced on Monday.

Nason, in his fifth season with the Monarchs, is a Maine native and a graduate of the University of Maine. After spending the 2000-01 season as an Account Executive with the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League, Nason took on a similar position with the Monarchs before his appointment to Assistant Director of Ticket Sales in June of 2001 and then Director of Ticket Sales in August of 2004.

In his current role as Director of Marketing, Nason oversees all aspects of game presentation, game promotions, advertising, customer service and market research focusing on database management and kids marketing. In the interim, Nason will continue to oversee the ticket sales department until a suitable replacement has been hired.

The Atlantic Division leading Portland Pirates come to Manchester on Wednesday, March 29 to face the Monarchs at 7:05 p.m.
