
MacDonald Gets The Call From Calgary

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that the Calgary Flames, their National Hockey League affiliate, have recalled team captain Craig MacDonald. He will join the Flames in time for their game on Wednesday, March 29th against the Los Angeles Kings at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
MacDonald scored two goals, added an assist and posted eight penalty minutes with the Flames earlier this season after being recalled from Omaha on October 23rd. In 37 games with the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, the native of Antigonish, Nova Scotia has posted 27 points (8 goals, 19 assist) and 57 penalty minutes. In 127 NHL career games with the Flames, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins, MacDonald has recorded 15 points (4 goals, 11 assists) and 60 penalty minutes. MacDonald was originally drafted by the Hartford Whalers in the fourth round, 88th overall, in the 1996 Entry Draft.
The Knights return to action on Friday, March 31st when they host the Houston Aeros at 7:00 p.m. It's also Ladies Night with the Knights. All ladies will be admitted for free with the purchase of a paid ticket. The Knights will hold a silent auction at the game. The winner will receive a free dinner at Dave and Buster's with Knights' forwards Ajay Baines and Dave Moss.
Tickets for all home games are available at the Civic Auditorium box office, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The box office is open through the opening face-off on game nights.
